PEPPERY CHEESE BREAD

2-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp cracked black pepper
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup plain yogourt
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup milk
1 Tbsp spicy brown mustard
10 slices bacon, cooked and diced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 thinly sliced green onions

Grease a standard loaf pan.  In bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda, and set aside.

In another bowl, mix together eggs, yogourt, oil, milk, and mustard.  Add this mixture all at once to the flour mixture.  Add bacon, cheese and onions, and stir.  Batter will be thick and lumpy.  Spoon into prepared pan, spreading evenly.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.  Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely.
